Over the Australia Day long weekend, 2002, we mated Ch Auslander Chantilly Lace to Am Ch Winmars American Gigolo Dassin (Imp USA). This was her first mating. Pregnancy was confirmed on Monday 25th Ferbruary, and nine puppies were born on Good Friday. "Chase"was imported by Christine Moore and Ray Mallinder of Dassin Enterprises in Brisbane, and I am very grateful to them for allowing me to use him. The litter comprised four Black & Tan bitches, and five males, two of which are Red & Rust, the other three being Black & Tan. A blood clotting test, the Buckle Test, done using a Surgicut has confirmed that none of the litter have a problem in that regard.

The second Auslander litter for 2002 was whelped on December 25th - Christmas Day. "Misty", Ch Cabochon Summa Rain, whelped nine puppies, sired by Grand Champion Auslander Dark Jester - "Jesse". Five black and tans and four red and rust. These are the first Auslander puppies from "Jesse"as it is the first opportunity I have had to use him as a stud dog, until now being limited by only having two bitches - one his mother, Auslander Let's Elope, and the other his three-quarter sister, Ch Auslander Chantilly Lace. The litter is line bred to Am Ch BJF The Comedy of Errors (Imp USA). And of course, the pups are all absolutely gorgeous!
